About the Team
Brennan Lougheed - Skip

Brennan joined Langley Curling Centre's junior program at age 5, and is a fourth-generation curler. He's in his fourth year of competitive curling and third year as the team skip. He considers Kevin Martin and Rachel Homan his favourite curlers, and he models his game on their playing styles.
Outside the rink, Brennan enjoys science and math in school, and plays the baritone saxophone in numerous music classes and clubs.
Mason Wolter - Third

Mason joined Langley Curling Centre's junior program at the age of 8 as a third-generation curler, and joined Team Lougheed as lead in 2024/2025 before moving to throwing third stones in 2025/2026. His favourite curler is Rachel Homan.
He was unanimously voted the team member most likely to make everyone laugh, and if he could meet anyone famous outside curling he'd like it to be Jim Carrey. His favourite class is physical education, he plays the trumpet, and loves a good Fortnite match.
Nate Vernon - Second

Nate has been curling since joining Langley Curling Centre's junior program at the age of 9, and he's in his fifth year of curling competitively. His favourite curler is Niklas Edin.
Nate spends lots of time in the outdoors, helping to look after his family's 10 acres as well as those of numerous neighbours; he spends lots of time fishing and counts it as the thing (besides curling) he can't live without. His favourite class in school is science.
Liam MacVicar - Lead

Liam is the newest member of Team Lougheed, having joined in the Spring of 2025. Inspired to take up curling by family friends, he started the team's new tradition by naming his broom Georgina; it's the thing he can't live without! His favourite curler is Marc Kennedy, who he hopes to meet one day.
Off the ice, Liam enjoys social studies in school and spends his spare time building as much LEGO as he can get his hands on.
Corinna Lougheed - Coach

In her third year as coach of the team, Corinna curled competitively in her youth including several trips to Jr. BC Provincials. After stepping away from the sport to attend university, she returned as a coach first with the Little Rock program at the Langley Curling Centre. She has since become the head coach and coordinator of Langley’s junior curling program (ages 5 to 19) in addition to her team coaching duties. Her non-curling time is spent as a fundraising professional in the university sector.
Tyler Wolter - Coach

Tyler is in his second year as team coach, having spent much of his life in the sport. Curling competitively in his youth, he continues to curl in several leagues each year in addition to coaching in the Langley Curling Centre's junior program. Outside the rink he works in project management for an energy utility.
